#HackersGonnaHack: Cybertonica organised an evening of The Real Challenges of Cybersecurity in Banking, FinTech and Transaction Environments

On 21st November, Cybertonica organised #HackersGonnaHack in partnership with Cisco, Emerging Payments Association and University College London at the post accelerator workspace IDEALondon. The event brought together 8 speakers from the industry and academia to discuss the Real Challenges of Cybersecurity in Banking, FinTech and Transaction Environments.
Joshua Bower-Saul, CEO of Cybertonica, opened the evening with his talk, Real Criminals in the Virtual World: How to use new technologies to make the future of FinTech safe. Later, Tony Craddock, Director General of Emerging Payments Association, gave a keynote address on The Role of Cybersecurity in Enabling Access for Everyone.
After the opening session, Sarah Martin, Programme Manager at Cisco Mi-IDEA, moderated an expert panel including Ekaterina Safonova, Director for Partnerships and Training at Cybertonica; Gianluca Stringhini, Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at University College London; Julian Saunders, CEO of PORT.im; Liad Herman, Founder of L.H Consulting DATA-ctives & SafeHouse Cyber-technologies; and Tom Pilling, Head of Risk (Acquiring – Europe) at Paysafe Group. They discussed Cybersecurity in Banking, FinTech and Transaction Environments and shared their valuable expertise with the audience.
