Hosted by the Emerging Payments Association, the Emerging Payments Awards celebrate innovation, collaboration and emerging payments by recognising companies that are building the payment world of tomorrow. This year, once again, Cybertonica was recognised as one of the industry’s leaders, as 30 international judges discerned the award Best Use of Payments Data during a glittering ceremony held at the Hilton London Park Lane Hotel.
Cybertonica was shortlisted alongside global brands in the segment, including with industry leaders Vocalink – a Mastercard company, The Chargeback Company, Ethoca and Chinese contender Allpay. The independent expert judges, decided that the Best Use of Payments Data Award for Cybertonica as the provider that uses payment data, or provides services enabling the use of data, or carries out manipulation and/or analysis of the data from payments to deliver added value or beneficial products and services.
Joshua Bower-Saul, CEO and Co-Founder of Cybertonica, quoted in the press room after leaving the stage said:
“This is yet another testament to the strength of our technology team led by CTO Sergey Velts and the product development and experience the team has gathered over the last year of working for global clients. There is no doubt that Cybertonica can compete with the brightest brains and best products in the market. It is a victory for hard work and a great spirit of collaboration in our diverse team.”
“We have developed products that fit the market in the UK, EU and beyond and in many segments by focusing on a platform technology that adapts to different segments quickly and with high accuracy and data operations that operate at 99.99% availability managing billions of events. This has proved useful to banks, payment providers and merchants, but we also will build applications from the platform in future with new partners in insurance and other types of risk. I’m very proud to see that the best minds in the market recognise what we are trying to achieve.”
Emerging Payments Awards 2018 recognised and acknowledged the achievements of PayTech and FinTech innovators over a range of 20 award categories. Paysafe and Vocalink were among the big winners at the awards.
Tony Craddock, Director General of the Emerging Payments Association, said:
“The Best Use of Payments Data Award was a highly competitive category. By winning this award, Cybertonica showed the judges why leading companies are deploying their tech to reduce risk and cut the cost of cyber fraud.”
